The next 50 years

...ou are my disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:35   Stop worrying about how The World acts and lives, and manage your own house. For what have I to do with judging those outside? Is it not those who are inside that you are to judge? 1 Cor 5:12 Act in love towards one another and let that bleed out INTO the World. Let them know us by our love and watch them come. God's house will stand in spite of us....

The Coming of Jesus: Our Future Hope - What Now?

...g for his disciples, knowing full well persecution and death awaited them, did he pray that the Father would rescue them from the world?   Nope. John 17:15I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.   What now? So where does this leave us now, today? With more hope, I would say. If indeed the tribulation, and signs, wars and bloodshed are behind us and was about the coming judgement on the nation of Israel, then we ought to have no fear of the future or things in the news and headlines on the papers. Definitely not any worry from those preachers who pop up every few years predicting the End....

The Real St. Nicholas: A Man of Virtue, Not Violence

...ou are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” Strength in Love, Not Violence The enduring appeal of the slap story may stem from its simplicity — it frames St. Nicholas as a hero who stood up for truth in an immediate, tangible way. But true strength often lies in restraint and in choosing love over retaliation. St. Nicholas’s greatest acts were not dramatic confrontations but quiet, consistent demonstrations of love. His life reminds us that defending the faith does not require violence or aggression. Instead, it calls for humility, courage, and a willingness to follow Christ’s example — even when it’s difficult. A Call to Liv...

Fact-Checking the Viral Post Connecting Human Anatomy and the Bible

...side. 12 disciples. 12 tribes of Israel. God built His design into our bones.” Most people do have 12 pairs of ribs, though some are born with an extra rib, or fewer. The number 12 is certainly biblical: the 12 tribes of Israel (Genesis 49), the 12 apostles (Matthew 10:1–4), and the 12 gates and foundations of the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21). But there’s no biblical connection between rib count and these symbolic twelves. This is a case of poetic association, not design woven into our bones. The only real mention of ribs in Scripture is when Eve is created from one of Adam’s ribs in Genesis 2:21–22, which has often led to the teaching in some chu...

Lent: Day 14 - Justin Martyr: First Apology, Chaps. 24-35

...ds of his disciples to all of the Scriptures and prophecies concerning him: Luke 24:27Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them the things about himself in all the scriptures. Citing more prophecies, Justin goes on to tell how even the place where Jesus would be born was predicted and offers an interesting tidbit of historical proof by telling the Emperor that he “can ascertain also from the registers of the taxing made under Cyrenius” that Jesus was, in fact, born in Bethlehem. Closing his argument and proofs for Jesus being the true Son of God, the incarnate Word, and not simply a man, Justin quotes from Isaiah again, an...

Unveiling the Trinity: Exploring the Nature of Jesus and the Incarnation

...ructs His disciples to baptise in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, providing early evidence of the Trinitarian formula. 2 Corinthians 13:14: This verse speaks of the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, reinforcing the triune nature of God. Early Church Fathers and the Development of Doctrine Early church fathers, such as Augustine, played a pivotal role in formulating the doctrine of the Trinity, emphasising the nature of the Godhead as three persons in one essence. Irenaeus (c. 130-202): In "Against Heresies," Irenaeus refuted Gnostic views and affirmed the divinity of Chris...

What Really Happened at Nicaea?

My new book is out now!
Myth, History, and the Council That Shaped Christianity

For over 1,700 years, the Council of Nicaea (AD 325) has been burdened with claims that refuse to die. That Emperor Constantine invented the Trinity. That the divinity of Jesus was decided by political vote. That the Bible was assembled to suit imperial power. That Christianity reshaped itself by absorbing pagan ideas.

This book subjects those claims to serious historical scrutiny.
